Priya Nath recollects how his left-eye had been twitching since the past few days. It had resulted in the ill-luck that followed. Shri Nathji always used to tell him that the twitching of the left eye was considered a bad omen, while the twitching of the right eye brought good luck. “Aaj daahinee aankh pharrak rahi thhee. Zaroor koyi“Today my right eye was twitching. Surely some good news is on its way.”Shri Nathji was the Creator – Brahma – and would say, on occasion:“Brahma ke ek aankh ke palkaare men saari duniya ban gayee.”“The entire world was created in the twinkling of an eyelash of Brahma.”Shri Nathji would also say to intellectuals:“People ask me – how could God could create such a vast Universe in the twinkling of an eye-lash? My answer is – in the same manner as you can create a dream-world of your own in your sleep!”
