There is Sant Teja Singh who comes for Shri Nathji’s darshan again, and says to Mangla:“Chandan ke paas jo raihta hai chandan ho jaataa hai!“Anyone who lives near Sandalwood, becomes Sandalwood.”“I shall consider myself honoured if I be given the job of a chowkidar, gateman, at Shri Nathji’s gate!”Shri Nathji narrates two of his favourite verses from his book,“Jee kafas men lag gayaa apnaa chaman se bhee sivaa“The cage has so entranced my heart –And:“Jazbe bulbul men asar, hoti kafas men aatish,“If the Love of the Nightingale had effect, it would set aflame the cage!
