Priya Nath finds Shri Nathji humming a “Pitaji’s As He finishes singing, He asks for another cup of tea and then tells Priya Nath the background about the ghazal. “There is not an ant in the Universe whose footsteps I cannot hear, though burrowing deep into the earth!”Shri Nathji is in such a good mood on this particular day that He speaks of going on a World Tour to spread His mission.“Vo All Mercy At 12:37 pm on December 13, 1991 Shri Nathji writes down and dictates the ghazal on ‘Krishna and Sudaama’ at Priya Nath’s asking. Huye kaid panjaye bezari Sudaama sooye Hari chale,Caught in a web of poverty, Sudaama goes to meet Hari (Krishna)Leeye chheen chaaval Hari ne jab hue Sudaama maihve khyaal tab,“When the Lord grabbed Sudaama’s rice, Sudaama thought to himself,It was the legendary meeting between Sudaama, the poor childhood friend of Lord Krishna, and Lord Krishna Himself. All Sudaama had to offer was a little bagful of rice, which Lord Krishna grabbed eagerly from his hands. Later, Sudaama found a Palace of Gold in place of his hut, when he returned home!“Main apne shabd aapke aage Sudaama ke chaaval ki tarah rakh rahaa hoon – magar ye vo unmol heere hain jiski keemat lok aur parlok dekar bhi naheen dee jaa sakti – jinhen devi aur devtaa bhee naheen khareed sakte “I am showering my words upon you like the rice of Sudaama – but these are diamonds that cannot be bought for the price of this world or the next, which cannot be bought even by the devis and devtaas – the angels. This Light has come down to this earth after centuries!”
