Shri Nathji speaks of the devotion of R.R. Khanna, recollecting the past:“When R.R. Khanna was about to leave the world, he asked his wife to open a trunk in the house and to bring out the clothes contained therein. These were the old clothes worn by me whenever I had lived with them at Lucknow, albeit for short periods of time. R.R. Khanna had kept these clothes for years and had worshipped them till the last moments of his life. He said to his wife:“Ye meri agli zindagi kaa Shri Nathji had this propensity for voicing entirely new Persian couplets which Priya Nath had never heard him utter before.
