Shri Nathji’s unremitting constipation does not yield to conventional treatment. The doctors suggest ‘Lactulose’ and “Cremaffin’ but Priya Nath is afraid they might cause loose motions and weaken Shri Nathji beyond measure. “Your body is such that no medicine is effective. If you had to come for the salvation of the world, you should have come in an iron body – or not come at all!”Shri Nathji laughs heartily at Priya Nath’s somewhat impertinent comments on his avatarhood. Priya Nath soon realises his impertinence and is very repentant. It is only Shri Nathji’s illness that un-nerves him and makes him say things he should never say to Shri Nathji.
