As regards Shri Nathji’s heart medication, there are two opinions again: the first set of doctors say Shri Nathji should take Lasix on alternate days, and the second set say he should give up Lasix altogether and take only Nifedipine which also acts like a mild diuretic. “You had said ‘And Shri Nathji laughs and says:“We didn’t call any doctors – he was a dentist! Shri Nathji’s food has become absolutely unpalatable as he cannot chew because of the gum boil – and the food, including ‘chappaatis’, vegetables, etc., has to be ground into a paste in the mixer. However, he ‘enjoys’ it all the same, uncomplainingly, even though the satisfaction of chewing the food is absent altogether.
