Priya Nath makes his first video film of Shri Nathji using the 500-Watt bulbs. For a while Shri Nathji is dazzled by the powerful light even though he has his dark glasses on, but then he adjusts himself perfectly to the lights and sits in front of them.“Satyam Shivam Sundaram!“God is Truth, Consciousness, and Beauty – He is Lord Shiva, the Beautiful personification of Truth – which is God. He is existence itself.”“Shamaa ne aag rakhli sar pe kasam khaane ko “The Flame swears by the Fire on its head,The moth came and fell into the flame by itself. There was yet another verse that Shri Nathji often quoted which is recorded in the video film even as Shri Nathji recites it:“Urr ke parvaanaa shamaa ki lene jo gayaa khabar“The moth went to discover the whereabouts of the Flame,Shri Nathji had said in the film:“A man was returning home at night. He met a moth on the way, and he asked the moth to go to his house and find out whether the Shamaa – the flame of his lamp – was burning or not. The moth went in the direction indicated by the man. The man waited for a long time but there was no sign of the moth. Another person passed by, and, on learning of the situation, said:“Jisko tumnen bhejaa thhaa vo parvaana thhaa ya makkhee?“That which you sent – was it a moth or a fly? And if it was a moth, how do you expect it to return if the This is the love of a devotee for God – the love of a ‘parvaana’ for the ‘Shamaa’.“Parvaana girte hi maraa, yaa gir kar maraa?“Did the moth die immediately on falling into the flame, or did it die after a short while?”And then he answered the question himself:“Vo gir kar maraa. That was the period of its life!”Shri Nathji had written this verse during His youth, depicting the short period of physical suffering, leading to eternal life:“Sozash hai ik dam ki aur raahate davaami“It is but a moment’s burning only, and the Life gained is Eternal,Shri Nathji also spoke of the fervour of the undaunted devotee:“Lagan men teri nikal gaye jo“In their Love for Thee, they went their way,Just prior to the video recording, Shri Nathji had been feeling extremely weak and unwell, but the one hour talk made him totally healthy again!
