Monday, June 1, 1992 brings a relief, as Shri Nathji remains mostly well. At 8:30 am Monday morning, Shri Nathji says to Priya Nath:“I think, Piyaji, the stomach wants a change. People go out and eat in hotels for a change of food. Her food used to be good before, but has become very tasteless these days.”Shri Nathji makes this remark from His bedroom armchair where He sits in a sleepy manner.“Jism bhaari saa lag rahaa hai!“The body has ‘heaviness’ in it!”However, despite these feelings He had taken the effort to go and sit in the lawn outside, looking incredibly “cute” to Priya Nath in His green sweater and the deep yellow cotton head kerchief – the sweetest possible human being upon earth. “Piyaji har vakt andar“Piyaji we remain amidst foul air in the bedroom most of the time. Fresh air is absolutely necessary for the Health.”The air from the ceiling fan coupled with the air conditioner chilled Shri Nathji every night. He says:“Raat bhar ye saari tthandak jism men lagti raihti hai pankhe ki!“All night long the cold air from the fan freezes the body.”Priya Nath realises how guilty he is. Every time he offers to switch off the fan or the air conditioner, Shri Nathji becomes concerned for Priya Nath and advises him to keep them all – enduring the severe cold all night in his old age of 90 and his low diet, heart problem, and the resulting weakness.
