At the suggestion of Dr. Bawa, Priya Nath had changed the Nifedipine brand and had given new capsules to Shri Nathji, anxiously watching for any new side-effects. He was somewhat upset at Shri Nathji’s weight going up to 41.4 kg which always appeared to be the danger point for him. However, Shri Nathji likes the new brand of Nifedipine from Nicholas and says encouragingly to Priya Nath – who he never wants to disappoint in anything:“Aankhon men“Light appears to have come into the eyes!”“Ye goli “This capsule is a miracle!” As the early morning of March 25, 1992, Wednesday, dawns upon them, Shri Nathji tells Priya Nath that the second dose of the new brand of Nefidipine had proved too strong, causing great toxicity in the brain, as well as fatigue in the body. Priya Nath does not risk the new brand any further and reverts back to the old Nifedipine Tablets.
