There was Dr. K.N. Saxena who visited me again, along with his wife, Smt. Savitri. He had a vivid spiritual experience which showed that Shri Nathji was with him all the time in His Invisible Form.“O Nathji! Please restore my voice to me. If I cannot speak a word today, people will blame THEE for not protecting me!–It was a genuine prayer that flowed from his heart. And it was heard.“Man must go like a ‘zero’ before God – and God will make him ‘Ten’. The power of God comes to the aid of one who brings his own helplessness before Him, like a ‘zero’ coming before ‘One’!”Dr. Saxena experienced Shri Nathji’s words coming true.“For a moment only, I began to wonder whether the antibiotics I had taken had worked to restore my voice. Just then I lost my voice again! As if Nature had shown me it was not the medication but Shri Nathji’s Divine power that had cured me.”When someone said: “You exerted yourself while speaking, that is why you have lost your voice now.”I said to myself: “You don’t know that it was Someone Else who spoke through me–who has gone now!”Dr. Saxena’s experience clearly showed that man must be ever-ready to acknowledge the Grace of God in the success that comes to him, and not attribute it to worldly causes, and that he must never allow his pride to come between himself and His Lord, as that would mean shutting out the Divine Grace.“Dr. Saxena you have been promoted!”Dr. Saxena wanted to know whether this was a material promotion or a spiritual promotion. He had already attained the highest position in his field and was in his sixties. There was no chance of a material promotion now. Saxena had another experience which brought him closer and closer to Shri Nathji. The experience was one which would have un-nerved even the bravest of men and made him lose hope, but Shri Nathji’s Divine Power was with him and kept his mind at peace even during the most trying moments.“It appears as if I have approached the end of my life. Perhaps the bad effect of my ‘Karmas’ is so severe that even Shri Nathji’s Blessings may not help me!”However, Priya Nath spoke to Dr. Saxena and said to him:“You remember what Shri Nathji used to say. If the Law of Karma were all-powerful it would become God in itself! God is one who is above His Laws and can change them at Will. Shri Nathji had once said: ‘Of what use would my Blessings be, if the Law of Karma were all that mattered?’And Priya Nath added:“Dr. Saxena –“Dr. Saxena do not worry. Not even a hair on your head will be harmed!”The doctors at Kenya had advised immediate hospitalization and an operation that entailed a three month stay there, with uncertain results. It was one of the best hospitals in the world. However, Dr. Saxena was afraid to go there.“Sudhirji maine aapse barre kaam lene hain!“Sudhirji, I have to take a lot of work from you.”He was in San Francisco at the time his father was ill in Kenya. All of a sudden, by a miracle, he discovered a private doctor in the yellow pages of the telephone directory of San Francisco, who claimed to specialize in the kind of disease that Dr. Saxena had. It was a big risk, since there were many quacks who advertised themselves in the telephone directories.
