Shri Nathji is the bravest person upon earth and his detached “action” in the world of matrialism is the true epitome of the word “Inaction” which sages defined as meditation, but Shri Nathji defined as In + Action = Inaction.“Nishkaam karma to manushya ke liye asambhav baat hai. Aur saakaam karma men“Action without a reward is impossible for man to achieve, and action with the hope of a reward amounts to selfishness. Therefore both these types of action are incorrect. Whatever action you perform – you must perform for the sake of God!”Shri Nathji’s philosophy was something new: “When you do all your tasks as works allotted to you by God, your work becomes your worship.”Shri Nathji did not preach non-attachment to the world – to one’s family, relatives, friends, one’s work, business or employment. Instead He preached a “greater attachment” to the world, taking it to be a task allotted by God.Shri Nathji had written in his famous book: “Yaa to iss duniyaa se man hataakar Bhagwan se man ko jorr do – aur yaa iss duniyaa ke har paihloo men Bhagwan ko dekh kar uss se pyaar karnaa seekh lo!“Either detach your mind from the world and attach it to God – or else see God in all the phases of the world and learn to love them!”How easy life would become for a man who saw the Will of God working everywhere in all phases of life, and who identified his will with the Will of God and came to accept it.“Azeen masaahibe dauraan manaalo, shaadaan baash,“Weep not at the sorrows of the world, but rather, be joyful!“Agar teer bhee chalaa rahaa hai to aapki takleefon ko kaatne ka liye!“If he has sent an arrow towards you, it is to rid you of your troubles!”Shri Nathji had also made the profound statement:“Sukh kyaa hai? Jo aap chaahen vo ho jaaye!“What is happiness! When you get what you desire.”“Aur dukh kyaa hai? Jo aap chaahen vo naa ho! Yaa jo aap naa chaahen vo ho!“And What is sorrow? When you do not get what you desire–or when you get what you do not desire!”Shri Nathji then added:“Aur agar aap chaahen naa! Jo vo chaahe vo aap chaahen – to naa sukh hai aur naa dukh. Sirf ussee ki icchaa!”“And if you desire nothing yourself but desire only what HE desires – then there is neither happiness nor sorrow in the world for you. Everything becomes his Will!”
