We have been sleeping in the big room at night since Tuesday, because the air conditioner in the bedroom eventually failed, and they installed a dark, smelly air conditioner there, causing us to move out of the bedroom – which has had a salutary effect on our mental make up, because the big room with all its portraits is really quite cheerful.
