Tuesday, May 12, 1992 begins well and passes beautifully. Shri Nathji eats well and is generally well. The lights and Air conditioner go off for sometime, and Shri Nathji sweats considerably in the heat. The two of them avoid going to the big room which is like a furnace these days. Shri Nathji barely sleeps in the afternoon and concentrates on His writing. “PIYAJI KAA SAATH DENAA! MAUT MUJH SE KAAMPTI HAI! MAGAR JAISE KAPRAA BADALNA HOTAA HAI, VAISE MAIN JAB CHAAHOON TO KAR SAKTA HOON. ABHEE MAINE KAAM KARNE HAIN!“You must stand by the side of Priyaji! Death trembles before me! I can change my clothes whenever I want to. But I have work to do yet.”Priya Nath remains worried about the extra-ordinarily low output which totals only 200 cc till 3 am – late Tuesday night – or early Wednesday morning. It’s the lowest output he has seen in days and he is literally worried sick, and cannot sleep even for a moment. Even Shri Nathji is somewhat concerned on seeing Priya Nath’s agony. Priya Nath prays and prays each and every minute of the night:“Soye naheen Piyaji? Kyaa baat hai?“Haven’t you slept Piyaji? What is the matter?”At 5:05 am Shri Nathji urges Priya Nath to go to sleep, adding:“Aapko to bahut neend aayaa karti thhee!“You used to sleep so well before!”Shri Nathji senses Priya Nath’s worry and says further:“Fikar to karnaa naheen chahiye. Ab haajat ho rahi hai. Thorraa aur ho jaaye.“Do not worry. I am feeling an urge, let it become greater.”The birds have begun chirping in the garden outside in the early morning. Shri Nathji is fairly awake and says to Priya Nath:“Andar to kabhee bhee naheen chal sakenge. Raat ko to saaraa kamraa ‘homas’ se bharaa hotaa hai. Subah subah, chalna chahiye!“We will never be able to walk inside. In the night the entire room is filled with hot air. We must walk early in the morning.”Unfortunately the early morning walks never come about because the two of them have to stay awake practically all night due to the repeated micturition – all of which comes in the early hours of the morning.“Ye to“This is a miracle. I had given up all hopes of a good output!”Priya Nath had always felt very sorry that he had been voicing his fears so openly before Shri Nathji so as to alarm even Him, however there was no one else before whom he could confide his fears.
