Tuesday, March 31, 1992, proves to be the worst day of the month of March 1992 and heralds the approach of worse days to come, wherein Shri Nathji’s divine power is put to the test. It was Shri Nathji testing Himself, playing out the part in the“Aankhen si khul rahee hain!“The eyes appear to open!”Obviously there was gas in the stomach which settled down after Pepsi Cola. Shri Nathji consoles Priya Nath by telling him:“Kuchh bhee naheen thhaa! Aisaa to kayi baar paihle ho chukaa hai!“It was nothing. Such a thing has happened many times before.”“Shaayad“Perhaps there has been dehydration due to Potassium and Sodium loss.”Shri Nathji’s pulse was fast at 72-74. It had become fast after the Nifedipine.“Shri Nathji is breathing very, very heavily, like He has never breathed before. I have just awakened Him, and asked Him how He is feeling, and His reply is:“Bahut acchhee tabeeyat hai!“I am feeling very well!”His pillow is beneath His head instead of its slanted position behind His back.“Badmaash!“The Rogue!”However, Shri Nathji adds cheerfully that nothing had gone wrong and that they had been saved:“Kyaa pataa save ho gaye hon! Ab“Who knows we may have been saved? Now everything will be all right from April!”Priya Nath decides to call Dr. Barat, the new doctor, to examine Shri Nathji the next day but Shri Nathji says:“Nayaa maheenaa doctoron se naheen shuru karna chahiye!“The new month must not be begun with doctors!”Priya Nath, however, wants to see that everything is “safe” medically and decides to call the doctor all the same.“O DEAR LORD! I’m worried sick! Guide me. O Lord, please let Pitaji’s weight not go up tomorrow and please let Him walk again perfectly, like He used to. O LORD it’s my fault for urging Him to walk 65 rounds daily thus over-straining Him. O LORD, always, it is my fault – O LORD, please save us and help us! Pitaji is snoring dreadfully like He has never snored before. O Lord, please help us and save us – It’s 12:45 am and Pitaji is snoring dreadfully – O Lord, please save us and help us. We seek refuge in Thee!”Priya Nath is convinced in his heart of hearts that something has happened to Shri Nathji which bodes no good for his heart condition.
