On the 15th of August 1993, Priya Nath celebrated the first birthday of Mahamateshwari without Shri Nathji. It, too, was an occasion tinged with sadness. Priya Nath knew of the deep and abiding love that Shri Nathji had for Mahamateshwari. Twenty years after her passing away, when a large-sized portrait of Mahamateshwari was brought into the house in 1987, Shri Nathji had tears in His eyes, as He said:“Mahamateshwariji – aap phir aa gayeen, iss roop men!”“Mahamateshwariji – you have come again, albeit in this form!”Priya Nath recollected the last birthday of Mahamateshwari that Shri Nathji had celebrated on the 15th of August 1992 in which he had worn His ceremonial pink turban for the first time in years. His last “Mateshwari, Mateshwari, Mateshwari ka DinPerhaps, Mateshwari, who had gone to her Heavenly Place in 1967, had finally called Shri Nathji to herself in 1992. Perhaps she had waited too long without Him.
