The call from Delhi was ever pressing. There was the historic international conference of 1500 Delegates at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on December 15, 1995. “There it is – the Fountain of Immortality. Drink but a cup from it and you shall attain Eternal Life. Death will never come upon you!”Aristotle gave him a cup which Alexander brought to the edge of the pond. Alexander dipped the cup into the pond and brought the cup to his mouth. Just as he was about to drink from it, his eyes fell upon a large multitude gathered at the far side of the pond. People were crying and wailing in agony.“Where have you brought me? Who are those people and why are they crying in agony?”Aristotle said: “They are in great suffering, that is why they are crying!”Alexander said: “Why don’t they drink from the fountain of immortality?”And Aristotle replied: “Alexander, they have already drunk from it!”Alexander was surprised and asked him:“Then why are they crying? What do they want?”Aristotle said: “Alexander, they are asking for Death! They have drunk the nectar of immortality and now they are immortal and have an eternal life. But they cannot endure the eternal suffering that accompanies an eternal life!”Alexander was so shocked that he walked away from the Fountain of Immortality, never to return. Members of the audience congratulated Priya Nath, and called it an “unforgettable experience”.
