Priya Nath records in his diary of that particular day, December 13, 1983:“Priya Nathji kitnaa bhee kyon na muhj se larr len–aakhir men karte vohi hain jo main kaihtaa hoon!“No matter how much Priya Nathji may quarrel with me, in the end he always does whatever I say.”Sri Nathji’s personality was so self-effasive and so unobtrusive that he did not make his presence felt. No matter who lived with Shri Nathji, he become emboldened to assert himself. However, this was not to say that Shri Nathji never corrected anyone. There were times when he could be angry, too, and then the persons living with him would understand his power. This had happened with Prem Nath, Shri Nathji’s younger brother, and also with many devotees who had begun to take advantage of his good nature. However he never exercised this anger on his sons.
