Shri Nathji blesses Shri Seth and recounts the story of the revolver episode at Mussoorie on the 9th of August 1948. “KHABARDAAR!However, one amongst them, who appeared to be their leader, advanced towards Shri Nathji, saying:“You have immobilized my men, but I alone am enough! Main akelaa hee kaafi hoon!” And saying this, he pulled out a revolver from his pocket and came menacingly towards Shri Nathji.“Agar tum naheen chaahate ke Hindustan men achhi cheezen rahen to goli chalaao! Magar tum goli naheen chalaa sakte. Ye“If you do not like good persons to exist in India, then shoot. However, you cannot fire the revolver. The revolver is on your hand but your hand is in the hand of God. If it be His Will that I have to live more to do His work, then you cannot fire the revolver, but if it be His will that my work upon the earth is over, then shoot!”The man’s hand began to tremble. He could not look Shri Nathji in the eye and tried to move behind him, but Shri Nathji also turned along with him. It was a strange scene, the man encircling Shri Nathji and Shri Nathji turning around with him.“Nathji!”“Mataji,Mahamateshwari could not bear to hear these words. Her countenance assumed an expression that was altogether awesome and terrible. With a loud cry she ran upwards towards the house.
