As the days go by, Shri Nathji finishes his 18th ghazal book and begins scribbling ghazals in a beautiful handwriting on loose foolscap sheets of paper that Priya Nath gives him. This is only to bide the time until such time as the ghazals’ notebooks can be brought from the shop at Connaught Place. Later, Shri Nathji would work untiringly to copy the ghazals from the foolscap sheets into the Notebooks.
