The powers of darkness strike again. More bad news from the lawyers in the rent case, who are not capable enough. Shri Nathji tells Priya Nath to not to worry when Priya Nath says, in a discouraged tone, that if the rent case goes against them they would be hard put to celebrate the World Prayer Day without a house to live in. “We must keep our goals high, and think of higher things.”In the evening Shri Nathji has his warm achkan put away inside the Godrej Almirah kept for the purpose in his room, and later watches the half-hour video film in the midst of his devotees, giving a cheerful enlightening sermon in the process and telling the devotees to stand by the side of Priya Nath, adding:“Main “I am proud of you all!”Later, Shri Nathji and Priya Nath watch the video of the Sapru House function of June 24, 1983. “But now even lawyers and judges run after him!”Priya Nath complains of the powers of darkness-the asuri bal that always hampers their spiritual work, no matter in which city they are and no matter what they are doing, and asks Shri Nathji: “Why is it allowed to win, even temporarily?” And Shri Nathji says: “The winning is also temporary. It is defeated in the end!”Shri Nathji had often said:“Agar Ramji ghar baithhe Ravana ko maar dete to Ramayana naa banti!”“If Ramaji had destroyed Ravana, sitting at home, there would have been no Ramayana!”Shri Nathji had always said that it was necessary for Lord Rama to undergo the travails of the Ramayana so that a large number of persons could be granted salvation.“Hanumanji to Rama kaa naam lekar samundar ke paar chhalaang lagaa gaye– magar Ramji ko pull banaakar jaanaa parraa. Iss kaa kyaa bhed thhaa? “Hanumanji lept across the waters of the ocean by taking the name of Rama–but Lord Rama had to make a bridge to cross the waters. What is the significance of this? If the name of Lord Rama could contain power enough to carry Hanuman across the ocean, surely Lord Rama, too, could have gone across by Himself? The reason was that those devotees who built the bridge for Rama had to be granted salvation through their services rendered for Rama. Even a squirrel contributed his grain of sand.”
