In-between there is Shri Nathji’s fantastic speech on August 30, 1985 on Rakshabandhan, to the home group, consisting of S.K.Khanna, Mrs. Bhutt, Gajanan and Mrs. Bahl and others. Fortunately, Priya Nath records the speech on tape. It is one of the rare treasures of that time.“I am giving you my “You are in need of “I have received the Raakhis that you sent and Shri Priya Nathji has tied them to my hand.“Avval to iss kooche men koyi aanaa naheen paataa“One cannot enter into this lane at all,“Yahaan aakar koyi naheen jaa saktaa. Baikunthh men aakar bhee chalaa jaataa hai!“This is the only place where a man cannot go away after coming. He can even go away from Heaven.” Mrs. Gangabai Bhutt interposes in the lecture to say to Shri Nathji:“Maharaj! Please do not tire yourself! Your darshan is enough for us! I, for my part, find everything that I need in your photographs!”And Shri Nathji adds:“Aa jaaye agar haathh to kyaa chain se rahiye“If only it would come to us, how contented we would be,“Magar darshan kaa sukh aur hee hai! Vahaan vaani bhee hai! “But the bliss of darshan is greater. For here there is the sound of the voice as well!It appears to Priya Nath that Shri Nathji had been somewhat concerned at Gangabai Bhutt’s statement that Shri Nathji’s pictures were enough for her. Shri Nathji did later say to Priya Nath that Gangabai Bhutt was not wholly herself due to old age.“Dandewaliji! Ye“”Dandewaliji, your pension case has been one of the greatest miracles yet! The lawyer himself said so!”“Shri Priya Nathji was down with fever and has got up only recently. Immediately upon recovery he was seized with a worry for me and for the world. He wishes to preserve my body for the sake of the world.“Bhai hogaa! Yahaan doob gayaa to sab gayaa!“He would be afraid. He would say to himself: ‘If after reaching so close to the shore I sink now, then everything will be lost!’”Perhaps Shri Nathji had said this to Sudha to alert her against the tendencies that sought to pull a devotee away from God, even after he had made great progress on the path and was about to reach the destination. It was also likely that Shri Nathji had said these words to caution Gangabai Bhutt as well, that having reached the ultimate in devotion she had to be cautious to not to make a mistake.“Jab aap“When you are standing before a Light, the Light is on you as well.“The darshan of God means that He enters within your heart.“Yaad rakho, aap usski sewa kar rahe ho jisko saare vishva ki chintaa hai!“Remember you are serving him who is worried about the whole world!“Ye mere vo bhakt hain jo kinaare par pahunch kar poorna hue.“These are my devotees who have found fulfilment upon reaching the shore!”“When Bhutt Sahib came to me at Lahore he said to me: “Badhaayi ho aaj ke din par! Sri Krishenji! Gajananji! Dandewaliji!“Sudha! Ham bahut prasaana hain!Gangabai Bhutt prays: “Aap aaraam karo MaharajShri Nathji: “AAJ ZOR SE JAI BOLO!”“Say the Jai with loudness today!”And there is the sound of Sri Krishen Khanna, Gangabai Bhutt, Gajanan, and Sudha, saying outside the window:“Param Pujya Shri Mahaprabhuji ki Jai!Gangabai Bhutt and Sri Krishen Khanna have been living with Shri Nathji ever since April 1985. Although they have continued to stay on after the World Prayer Day there are stirrings of restlessness in their minds, which affects Shri Nathji internally. Sudha’s mind too is wavering and uncertain and the desire to go lingers. This always happened whenever it was time for the spread of Shri Nathji’s mission. The asuri bal played upon the minds of those closest to him.
