These are the days when Shri Nathji sings two ghazals himself after writing them, such is the intensity of his inner bliss. “Jo baage janaa thhaa aalam men har khoobi jiske andar thhee“The garden of beauty that contained every uniqueness,It is wonderful hearing Shri Nathji sing after such a terrible period of suffering. The music of Shri Nathji’s voice is heaven for Priya Nath’s ears.“Bijliyaan chamkeen falak par, range baaraan ho gayaa“Lightning flashes filled the skies with a many splendoured colour of rain”The ghazal is at once poetic and touching. Shri Nathji listens to it at 1 a.m. in the night and really enjoys it, and says:“It must be printed and sung before all!”Shri Nathji tells Sudha: “The past has become a dream!”And explains, sentence by sentence, the meaning of another ghazal he has written which begins with the verse:“Main kaise kahoon aur kiss se kahoon jo aalame sozaan dil men hai,“How can I narrate, and to whom, the pain of burning in my heart, Fortunately, Priya Nath records Shri Nathji’s explanation of the ghazal above, even as Shri Nathji says:“LIFE, WHICH HAS BEEN SPENT IN SEARCH OF HIM–Shri Nathji looks very cute to Priya Nath, as he explains the above ghazal from bed, while wearing his thin, red sweater, and a white shirt and yellow kerchief on his head.
