In another mood of reverie Shri Nathji recounts the devotion of the Rani of Mandi, which was a State near Lucknow. She was known as Chashme Vaali Mata, who had first met Shri Nathji at Lucknow. The woman was plagued by many serious illnesses. Her five sons had died soon after the passing away of her husband. As she would say: “Each and every hair on my head is numbered with sorrow.”
