Later that evening Dr. and Mrs. Saxena of Kenya arrive for his darshan. They have come for Shri Nathji’s blessings for the marriage of their son, Sudhir on January 22, 1986. They had come to Shri Nathji some time back when Sudhir was about to be posted in Holland by his company. A miracle had occurred and the posting had been cancelled. Now he could enter into marriage with a calm mind.“Please leave your blessings behind!”And Shri Nathji replied:“A flower had lain upon a table for a while. As it was about to leave, it asked the table what it may do in return for the resting place that the table had given it. And the table said: ‘Leave your fragrance behind!’ The flower replied: ‘The fragrance has been left behind spontaneously through the touch that you received from me!’”As Dr. Saxena departs he says to Priya Nath at the gate of the house:“Shri Nathji’s health has improved remarkably, and his voice is very loud and powerful!” When Priya Nath narrates Dr. Saxena’s remarks to Shri Nathji he says to Priya Nath:“All this is due to your cooking!”It was in fact a miracle that Shri Nathji was appearing to be in such good health to his devotees, despite the fact that he had been receiving inadequate medical treatment and his diet had been reduced to practically nothing. There were, however, the earnest prayers of Priya Nath mingled with his cooking which were restoring Shri Nathji to good health.
