These were the days of winter in Mussoorie when Priya Nath and Ujwala were frequently seen playing with the dogs that they had kept in the house. There was already the white Bhotia dog, named “Bhotu” which had been kept by them in 2003. And now there were two new dogs, both of them Bhotia pups, one brown and the other black. Thus altogether there were three dogs in the house. These dogs instantly recognised the devotees and would never bark at them.“Bar dare darvesh darbaan naa baayad!“There should not be any dogs at the doors of saints!”And the “Baayad! Taake sage duniyaan naa aayad!“There should! So that the dogs of the world may not enter within!”By “dogs of the world” the “Jaante ho Bhagwan ke dwaar kaa dwaarpaal kaun hai? Inder Devtaa!“Would you wish to know who is the gate-man at the door of God? The head of the angels, Indra himself!”
