Mrs. Shanta Chaudhri had met Shri Nathji in 1971. At that time a very complex case was going on against her in which she was certain to suffer heavy damages running into lakhs of rupees. She came to Shri Nathji as a landlady and took the payment for the rent of her house in Dalhousie for the summer of 1971.“Mrs. Chaudhri, in your case we have decided to make an exception– and not to impose any penalty.”Mrs. Chaudhri could hardly believe her ears. She came rushing to thank Shri Nathji and thereafter became His devotee, forever.On another occasion she said to Him in 1996:“Promise me that you will come before me personally during my last moments, to take me away.”Shri Nathji had already left His physical body in 1992.
