From 1929 to 1934 Shri Nathji would be seen travelling between Mussoorie and Amritsar, stopping over en route at Lucknow. During this period of time Shri Nathji was showering his grace as much at Amritsar as he was at Mussoorie and Lucknow.
While he was travelling back and forth between Mussoorie and Amritsar, Shri Babaji Maharaj had remained continuously at Amritsar. He would wait anxiously for Shri Nathji to return after his travels to Mussoorie and Lucknow.
Shri Nathji and Shri Babaji Maharaj had now been living at Amritsar from about 1914 to 1934 almost continuously, i.e. a period of about 20 years.
Shri Nathji always used to say: Shri Babaji always remained very concerned about my welfare. He would never let me go out alone, but would always send someone to accompany me.
Shri Babaji Maharaj went twice to Mussoorie with Shri Nathji–once in 1934, when he stayed at Kahkashan, and once in 1936, when he stayed at Dilaram Estate, and he went once to Dehra Dun in 1938 to stay at Shri Nathji’s house there.
On the occasion that Shri Babaji Maharaj was at Mussoorie, Shri Nathji pulled the rickshaw of Shri Babaji Maharaj as a token of his homage to him. It was truly a great occasion for the world that two such divine beings existed within it.
During the time that Shri Nathji was travelling back and forth between Mussoorie and Amritsar, he had also been visiting other areas in the Punjab.
