During this time in January 1948, a certain Narbada Hathi came all the way from Rajamundry to Bombay for Shri Nathji’s darshan. She had had Shri Nathji’s darshan earlier at Chanda in 1946. Her husband, Shri L.G. Hathi, was a timber merchant at Rajahmundry and had great faith in Shri Nathji.
Narbada stayed at Mayfair Building along with Shri Nathji and Mateshwari to act as companion to Mateshwari and to look after Pran Nath and Priya Nath.
She had received an inner light and had begun to see God in Shri Nathji. The desire took root in her heart that she had to bring Shri Nathji to her hometown at Rajahmundry and give the people there his darshan. It was a desire that was to find fulfilment only after she had threatened to go on a fast, late in 1948. Albeit she stayed in the divine atmosphere at Mayfair building for about one and a half months and then returned to Rajahmundry to await the arrival of Shri Nathji there.
