As Shri Nathji’s car went over a long bridge, the children realised for the first time that Bombay was an island and that they were going over the ocean. In the night, the ocean appeared dark and forbidding with the city lights glistening over its surface. Shri Nathji, as was his wont, raised his hands and blessed the ocean just like he had blessed the Jamna while crossing over to New Delhi.
