As the plane arrived at London airport, there were Shri Nathji and Pran Nath waiting to receive Mateshwari and Priya Nath. There was also Mr. K.L. Jalie. Mateshwari had been very concerned about the health of Shri Nathji who had been in London now for almost three months.
Shri Nathji had already become engulfed in problems. It turned out that Mr. Karai had, without warning, given a notice to Mrs. Chabowski that he was vacating her flat.
Since Shri Nathji and Pran Nath were living with Karai, this meant that they, too, would have to leave the flat along with Karai. Mrs. Chabowski was shocked at the sudden decision and pleaded with Shri Nathji to stay on at her home along with Pran Nath, free of rent.
However, Shri Nathji could not think of abandoning Karai, and thanked Mrs. Chabowski and left. In later days, Karai would always regret that notice he had sent, calling it a frivolous “Brain-Wave”. Indeed it was on the frivolous brain waves of many of his devotees that Shri Nathji had to change his plans in life.
Mateshwari discovered all this when she arrived in London. For the first two days she and Priya Nath were accommodated in a hotel found by Mr. Jalie, while Shri Nathji and Pran Nath had stayed with Karai in his new lodgings.
