There is the fabulous birthday celebration of Shri Babaji Maharaj at Shri Nathji’s home at Delhi. Shri Nathji’s new ghazal appears to make Shri Babaji’s portrait come alive. The smile on his face becomes wide, almost like a laugh. Shri Babaji’s Grace showers down upon all, even as the words of Shri Nathji’s ghazal ring out in the voice of Priya Nath on the recorded tape:Aaj phir aayi hai duniyaa men bahaare zindagiThe Spring of Joy has come once again into this worldShri Nathji also wrote:Aaj phir saaghar bakaf maihfil men Saaki aa gayaaThe Saki has come into the tavern carrying His Cup with Him.And yet another ghazal beginning with the words:Aaj jab vo saamne baitthe to ham jaate raheWhen He came before us we lost ourselvesPriya Nath sang all three ghazals concurrently, giving the same tune to all of them. There was a lilt to the tune that appeared to sway the portrait of Shri Babaji Maharaj, as if he were about to hand out his Divine Cup to the gathering.
