Shri Nathji loved dogs, and there was no doubt about that. In the past years in Mussoorie in the 1950’s he would feed the dogs with his own hands sometimes, and even tickle them on their bellies as they rolled over beneath his feet, while his hand gently stroked their heads. He had this habit of playing with the little pups at Mussoorie and would even pretend to run a little, to make the pup happy, until it began to bite his feet and became a nuisance!
