In later years the Urhekars were to repent bitterly over their great folly. Shri Urhekar, who had been in perfect health when he was with Shri Nathji, fell a prey to sickness and disease and was confined to bed for years. “At the time of death the sins that one has committed in life take on monstrous proportions and fill the soul with dread. Therefore, it is wise for man to wipe his slate clean before the coming of death.”Shyam Lal Kasera had once come before Shri Babaji Maharaj and had said to him:“We have such a Kind Master who forgives us all our transgressions. But instead of being grateful and not sinning any more, we go ahead and err even more than before!”Those who genuinely repented for their sins were readily forgiven by God.
