December 1947 saw Shri Nathji, along with his family, at the home of the Bhutts at New Delhi, from where they went to Harda in the Central Provinces at the invitation of Manjul Kavi, a renowned poet of the area. Multitudes thronged for Shri Nathji’s darshan and many saw God in him. Gangabai Bhutt antagonized a group of non-believers by not allowing them inside for Shri Nathji’s darshan. Unprecedented chaos followed in its wake, and Shri Nathji left Harda earlier than planned.
