On New Year’s Eve on the 31st of December 1986, late in the night, Shri Nathji wrote a beautiful ghazal for the coming New Year 1987, which Priya Nath put to music:“Nayaa saal aayaa sattaasi mubaarikThe New Year 87 has brought Good Tidings!Both, Shri Nathji and Priya Nath, embraced each other, as the clock and the sound of the firecrackers outside heralded the approach of the New Year.
