These are the days when Shri Nathji gets into the habit of wearing the cheap, thick, and heavy woollen achkan made by Khadi Bhandar of Delhi, which was purchased from their shop near the Regal Cinema at Connaught Place in 1986 itself. The achkan is very warm and has a dark green colour. It can be used roughly and is a good substitute for a dressing gown. Priya Nath wears the warm, orange coloured, closed-neck coat with stripes which he had bought from the same place. “Priyaji aap koyi saadhu mahatma thhorri hain! Khoob achhaa suit paihanaa karen“Priyaji you are not an ascetic or a monk! Wear the best possible suit you can, befitting a Harvard Scholar. It enhances my prestige as well.” Shri Nathji never wanted people to think of Priya Nath as a sadhu or monk, one who had renounced the world – and never liked Priya Nath trying on a head rumaal, whenever Priya Nath made the attempt to wear it like Shri Nathji.
