Little do they realise this is not the real spiritual path – The spiritual path dictates that one must leave aside these things – and go towards God alone!”Shri Nathji had said, in Hindi, referring to the wealth and properties that mahatmas accumulated:“Inn cheezon ko ikatthe karke mahaan naheen ban naa hai, balke inn cheezon kaa tyaag kar ke!”The qawwaals who had sung the qawwaallis had said: “Whenever we come here, the gate is locked, the windows closed, there is dust upon the two old cars in the drive way, and an absolute silence in the house – this is real Faqueeree – real saintliness. There is so much of pomp and show and wealth in many so-called spiritual places, which do not at all depict spirituality! On the contrary this materialistic show goes against spiritual values – real ‘ruhaaniyat’ – real spirituality. We have found real ‘ruhaaniyat’ only in Shri Nathji and nowhere else!”
