August 23 brings another meaningful lecture from Shri Nathji to the people of the world:“I am not so bad after all. You can compare me with the rest of the world.“I thank God that He has used my body for the salvation of the world. Remember Shri Babaji’s Prophecy: ‘Ishwar parmaatmaa ne iss shareer men apnaa naam Nath Ghulam rue Zameen aur Shaihenshah rue Zameen rakhaa hai. ‘God has taken upon himself in the bodily frame the name of Nath Ghulam Rue Zameen as well as Shaihenshah Rue Zameen.’‘Choonti se lekar Brahma tak aur Kullee se lekar Shaihenshaah rue Zameen tak majboor hogaa ke vo Nathji ko Shaihenshah Rue Zameen maane, aur inke hukam ko maankar jeevan mukt aur videh mukt hone kaa darjaa haasil karen!‘Everyone, from an ant to the Creator, Brahma, and from a coolie to an Emperor, shall be forced to look upon Shri Nathji as the Emperor of the world, and by obeying his order gain for himself salvation in life as well as in death.”“Also, Shri Nathji must not forget this Divine Behest to serve the world – even if he has to pass through swords.‘Betaa kaheen meri nazar naa lag jaaye!“I am worried lest my sight bring you ill luck!“And I had said: ‘‘I wait for thy sight to fall in my direction!’“Rajas and Maharajas have only very loyal people serving them. I recall the story of a pony who belonged to a special breed of horses that had served the king. ‘Mother you had asked me to throw him down if he hit me again – but I just could not do it!’ And his mother explained:‘You are a ‘Shri Nathji later narrates how Omar Khayyam, the famed Persian poet had inadvertently insulted God in a moment of intoxication – and how repentance tore away at his soul till he was reduced to a skeleton. Enlightenment returned to him later when God forgave him when He was pleased with Omar Khayyam’s verse:‘Who is there in the world who has not sinned?Shri Nathji says:“Jo manushya meri aagyaa men chaltaa hai, main sarvagya Bhagwan kaihtaa hoon ke meri kul shaktiyaan teri madad karengi!“If a man obeys me – then I, the All Powerful God, assure him that all my Powers shall go out to help him!”When Priya Nath worries about Shri Nathji’s health, Shri Nathji tells him:“Keep a congenial, happy atmosphere in the house – songs and music – which is a cure!”This was what medical science had also begun to discover after years of research.“There is something in the world that brings worry again and again.”According to Shri Nathji:“The fact that there is no happiness in the world, and the quest for happiness precisely proves the existence of God – in whom Everlasting Happiness lies. All of science, religion, philosophy and even atheism is seeking happiness. The sorrows of the world impel man to look for God in whom all sorrows vanish forever!”Shri Nathji had often said:“In my eyes there is no atheism, because even an atheist desires Peace and Happiness which are everlasting – and which are the attributes of God. All are, directly, or indirectly, knowingly or unknowingly, walking towards God in whom the answers to all questions lie.”Shri Nathji, in a moment of reverie, recollects the episode of Raja Jagat who had been involved in a serious road accident and lay dying at the King George’s Hospital, Lucknow, in the 1930’s. “Then go to the Hospital – your son is well. The Peace you have just felt is a harbinger of that good news!”And even as the mother rushed to the Hospital she found the doctors congratulating each other on the miraculous recovery of Raja Jagat. It was Shri Nathji’s miracle.
