Pran Nath had always been disturbed by the rampant corruption in the country. He had fought for Indians all the time that he was in London, but he could not defend the falsehood and deceit that existed in the country, and it was for this reason that it was difficult for him to live in India.“I see untruth winning everywhere! A man tells a lie and earns a lakh of rupees – that is victory of untruth, is it not?”And Shri Nathji had replied:“Tell me, when the man said the untruth, did he reveal that it was an untruth, or did he say he was telling the truth?”And Shri Nathji said: “Then how can you say untruth triumphed! It was truth that won! If untruth can win in the guise of Truth, how much more effective will Truth be in itself!”“Jiss sachh ki aarr men jhoot safal ho saktaa hai vo satya khud kitnaa safal ho saktaa hai!”But, all the same, Shri Nathji was very dismayed at the lies and deceipt being practised by many persons, not only in India, but all over the world, albeit in the guise of Truth. His own property at Dehra Dun had been taken over by falsehood.
