At 4:30 am Priya Nath accidentally discovers a high irregular pulse. It gave him a shock to detect fast ‘runs’ of tachycardia – a series of fast pulse rates that came and disappeared, with extreme rapidity 1-2-3-4 etc, but which subsided soon enough, however.“No more suffering for dear, sweet, Pitiji, O Dear, Dear, Lord, please save us and help us, O Dear, Dear, Lord.”Hardly had Priya Nath finished setting His prayers on paper than the pulse rate fell suddenly to 66, and became a 100% Regular for the first time in many days. Priya Nath had no words with which to thank the Good Lord – but kept on praying for his other demands as well.“Tabeeyat achhee hai, Piyaji?“Are you feeling all right?”Adding:“Neend naheen aayi?”“Haven’t you slept?”Shri Nathji is more concerned about Priya Nath losing sleep than He is concerned about His own illness. He would say endlessly to the devotees:“Piyaji saari saari raat jaagte raihte hain. Meri ek ek saans ginte raihte hain.“Piyaji remains awake all night. He counts each and every breath of mine.”
