Shri Nathji is very concerned about Dr.Winick’s visit and wants the best possible hospitality to be given to him. He also writes a touching, beautiful, welcoming speech in English for Dr.Winick and says He will read it out Himself, after Priya Nath has finished typing it. “Ho gayaa Piyaji? Wah! Yaad-daasht rakhegaa!“Is it done, Piyaji? Wonderful! He will keep it as a memento of his visit here!” He is dressed in His red sweater and the chocolate coloured bala-clava cap and is reclining on his pillows, saying: “Bahut hee acchaa! Main hee parrh doongaa!“It is very good! I shall read it myself!”“Wah! Do dafaa parrh liyaa!“Wonderful! I have read it twice!” “Isski copy Shri Nathji also suggests that Priya Nath buy a new typewriter: “Ye to, Priyaji, le lo! Karorron ka kaam hai!” “You must buy one, Piyaji! Your work is worth crores!”Priya Nath had typed it in the early hours of the morning, grumbling all the while, even as his typewriter gave him trouble. He repents greatly for His vexation with Shri Nathji for having written the welcoming speech, and he records in his diary: “O Lord, forgive me for being vexed with Pitaji because He gave me a handwritten welcoming speech for Dr. Winick which was difficult to read – and which would have to be typed. O Lord, I finally typed it, but became very vexed and irritable when the stupid typewriter broke down, and my vexation came out on dear, dear, sweet Pitiji!”
