Sardar Teja Singh sends a certain Sardar Gopal Singh, who had taken Shri Nathji’s ‘“Aj pailaa din hai main Punjabi vich bol reaa haan.“Today is the first day in a long time that I am speaking in Punjabi.”Shri Nathji explains to him the meaning of the word “Main kushtagaane ishq men Sardaar hi rahaa,“Amongst those who died for the sake of Love, I remained forever in the forefront; “The real meaning of ‘Sardaar’ is–one who has understood Divine Secrets!” “Bhed ko samajhne vaalaa!”Shri Nathji also quotes from the Sikh writings:“Saad janaan dee maangaa dhoor“O Lord, I ask for the dust of the feet of Thy saints,It is a beautiful speech in Punjabi, which, alas, is lost to posterity as Priya Nath forgets to record it for some reason or the other.“Har kujaa darde davaa aanjaa ravad,“The medicine must go where the pain is,Shri Nathji was referring to Divine Grace which came down wherever there was a receptive heart.“Maine“I said to Dr. Zakir Hussain: ‘Only that letter-box will carry across your letter which is connected with the postal system.
