After going through numerous bureaucratic processes and delays, and untold harassment, Mateshwari and Priya Nath were able to purchase two tickets for London.
In the month of July 1963, Mateshwari and Priya Nath boarded a BOAC plane for London and left the soil of India. Mateshwari had a great love for India and its poor people. She left India but reluctantly.
