In the year 1980, Talwar’s ten year old daughter, Gauri, was to have one of the greatest experiences of her life. She had fallen seriously ill. Her fever would not break and doctors had little hope for her survival.
At the time when she was unconscious, she found herself in another world, amongst the stars and the galaxies. She saw Shri Nathji in the fulness of his grandeur. He was the Grand Creator of the Universe.
She saw Shri Nathji pedalling the world as if it were a cycle. Shri Nathji soon took her on a grand tour and showed her the mysteries of the Universe, and revealed Himself in the forms of Vishnu, Brahma and Mahesh.
After this mighty experience, Shri Nathji sent her back to the earth. She awoke to find herself well. The doctors were surprised at her miraculous recovery. What she told her relatives astonished them, and they began to have a reverence for her as one who had been especially chosen by Shri Nathji for His Divine Revelation.
For years afterwards, Gauri and her parents continued to narrate this fascinating revelation of Shri Nathji to all who came to them.
Shri Nathji was Master of His own Will. He could reveal himself to genuine seekers after truth, like Gangabai Bhutt and numerous others, or else he could reveal himself to a little girl like Gauri.
As Talwar continued to be promoted in his field of work due to Shri Nathji’s blessings he found himself becoming more and more busy, with practically no time left to visit Shri Nathji, even though Shri Nathji lived in South Delhi which was the area of Talwar’s work.
He found little time to bring his wife and children for Shri Nathji’s darshan. Although his faith in Shri Nathji remained as firm as ever, yet he could not serve his Master due the fetters imposed upon him by his busy hours. Indeed this was the price for worldly promotion that all devotees of God had to pay. It took them away from their duties to God. This was to remain as one of his greatest regrets in the years to come.
