Shri Nathji’s spiritual work increased in size and strength with the coming of Mateshwari After marriage, Shri Nathji and Mateshwari left Lahore and came to live at Shri Nathji’s house at Dehra Dun at 25, Inder Road. Here, again, people continued to come for Shri Nathji’s darshan in a never-ending stream.
There was the time when a Muslim commissioner’s wife had said to Shri Nathji in the years past at his sermon in the Standard Building at Mussoorie:
What great virtue surrounds the men so that you look only at them when you speak? the commissioner’s wife said.
Shri Nathji smiled, The time is approaching near when women, too, shall receive ample attention from another form that will belong to me!
Shri Nathji had been referring to Mateshwari who was destined to join him in his mission as his better-half.
Indeed, after Shri Nathji’s marriage, women felt a greater degree of attention go out towards them through Mateshwari.
Rehana Tyyab was delighted. She said in Dehra Dun: At last I can walk with Shri Nathji on the street, now that Mahamateshwari has arrived!
A greater sense of discipline seemed to come to the devotees now that Shri Nathji had his shakti-divine power-by his side.
