Mrs. Bhutt firmly believed that Shri Nathji had stopped the Second World War as well. Religions would frequently speak of the struggle between the forces of good and the forces of evil, between the powers of light and the powers of darkness–between the asuraas and the devtaas–a struggle that assumed the shape of wars on earth, and parallel conflicts raging in another plane.
Mrs. Bhutt had a vision of this conflict in the astral plane in 1945. She saw a vast area of devastation, in the midst of which stood a dark figure on a black horse. He was the living embodiment of evil. He had a weapon in his hand, which he flung upwards in the sky. There was a deafening sound of thunder and a portion of the skies appeared to part and fall. Great was the strength of the powers of evil.
