Shri Nathji, Mateshwari and the boys began their return journey home. Tabarruk was in a bad mood from the start. He had formed the impression that he was not trusted. The car found its way along the route from which it had come, and slowly and surely passed through the towns and the cities that lay en route to Delhi from Bombay.
Shri Nathji passed through Nasik, where they stayed for one night at the hotel again. Shri Nathji bought a small accordion- concertina for the boys from a shop at the hotel. Shri Nathji was ever eager to purchase anything that took the boys’ fancy.
Thereafter, they passed through Dhulia, Mhow, and Indore. However, Shri Nathji did not stop again at Indore, and merely blessed the Maharaja at Shiv Vilas Palace from a distance from his car.
His blessings went out in an invisible manner towards Maharaja Tukojirao Holkar and Maharani Sarmishta Bai who were at that time in their palace.
This was the last time that Shri Nathji was ever going to be in Indore. He raised his hands in a gesture of blessings and left Indore. His blessings were to remain in that city like a seed of devotion, which was to emerge years later in the hearts of devotees.
