Soon after the birthday of Shri Babaji Maharaj, Shri Nathji had decided to go to Calcutta at the earnest prayer of his devotee, Shri Harshad N. Pathak, over there. The tickets were arranged by the Calcutta devotees. Shri Nathji, Mateshwari, and the children along with Sahadeva, boarded an air-conditioned train.
As the train was moving and nearing Calcutta, Shri Nathji had a feeling of intense sadness within him. It was as if one of his closest devotes had passed away. Shri Nathji was right.
R.R. Khanna had left the physical world just at that instant of time. On the worldly plane, Shri Nathji got the news of his passing away at Calcutta. Shri Nathji immediately left all other work he was doing and wrote a long telegram in which he gave his blessings and condolences to the family of R.R. Khanna.
At Calcutta, people thronged to Shri Nathji for his darshan and blessings, even as his divine flow of words continued in an unending deluge that flooded the hearts and souls of all who came to him.
There was not a shadow of a doubt in the mind of Harshad that Shri Nathji was God Incarnate and he said so in every letter that he wrote to Shri Nathji. It was a feeling that came from within his heart, one which he could not deny and which had become a part of him.
