Sardar Harnam Singh, the father of Sardar Harbhajan Chopra, had broken his leg. He was a very old man. He did not know how long he had to stay in this world. He had said to his son: What a wonderful thing it would be if Shri Nathji were here! My soul thirsts for his darshan!
And Shri Nathji arrived in Allahabad that very day! It was as if Shri Nathji had answered his prayer miraculously.
Mr. Chopra’s father left his bed and came to Shri Nathji, supported by his children. He asked three things of Shri Nathji in Punjabi, which Shri Nathji always remembered, and narrated in his sermons. It was something that every person in the world directly or indirectly wished for:
The first was: “If you are very pleased with me, then let me not look upon another.
Je barre tuthhe ho de doojaa na dikhaanaa!”
The second: “There is a great amount of sorrow in the world, give us strength to bear it.
Duniyaa vich dukh barraa hai, bardaasht dee taakat deyo!”
And the third: “Bless me so that I am never born on this earth again.
Main baurr janam naa aanvaan!”
As Shri Nathji came to stay with the Chopra family, they sent the servants out and served him with their own hands. People converged on the Chopras’ house in large numbers. Day and night there were queues of people coming for Shri Nathji’s darshan. Shri Nathji spoke to each and every person that came to him and blessed everyone in abundance. The Divine Light of Shri Nathji was indeed at its peak at Allahabad that year. Untold miracles occurred everyday.
