The Seth
“A poor farmer went before the idol in a temple and offered his plough to God. It was the only thing that he possessed in life. A rich seth came to the same temple and offered eighty thousand rupees. God appeared before the farmer and blessed him.
The seth complained before God: ‘O Lord you did not bless me. The offering I made was greater!’
And God said to him:
‘You placed eighty thousand rupees before me when you had millions in your treasury. You gave me just a little part of your wealth. This poor man gave me his plough. It was everything that he possessed!”
